Type: Full time Expected Start Date: 08/29/2019 Compensation: $82,000-$92,000/ year plus benefits
Analyze the client’s business requirements, then Design and develop new processes
or to enhance already existing processes to improve reporting capabilities for
business using Informatica as an ETL tool and Teradata as Enterprise Data ware
house Database. Develop mappings using Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) tool or Sqoop to
integrate data from Hadoop into Teradata. Develop Sprint planning and estimation by analyzing Jira stories with inputs from
Business System Analyst and determine priorities of the sprints with inputs from
business. Doing regression, system Integration and functional testing for the newly developed
processes and existing processes if changes are made. Work with business users to get UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Sign off for
migration of code into production. Provide code review for team members and provide suggestions to tune their code
for better performance and to maintain good industry standards. Document different steps of project implementation and obstacles found during the
project implementation.
Document the project implementation steps and share it with client teams. Report project status to Client, Vendor and Contrive Solutions management. Attend training in new technologies for career advancement
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 1-2+ years in SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie,
Spark, Informatica, Python, C, MATLAB, Bash and Shell. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills Additional Benefits:
